PCAC Youth Excellence in Arts (YEA) AWARDs OVERVIEW

PCAC will not be hosting the YEA awards this year. Instead, we are encouraging our emerging artists to join us in The Big Draw: A City-Wide Arts Celebration.

There are opportunities for artists to create a street chalk painting, do live demos using another medium, or sell their work. If you are a musician or performing artist, there will be live performances throughout the day. In addition, there will be pianos placed along Main Street in downtown Pleasanton during the week leading up to The Big Draw, as well as the day of, and we would love to set up a time for your own debut concert! For you poets and writers, there will be a time for slam poetry. Towne Center Books will also be hosting an author's row, where you can meet published local authors.

To find out more, go to www.The-Big-Draw.com. If you are a chalk artist, please fill out the application provided. If you are a performing artist, please fill out the volunteer application form.
