The concept of a way-finding signpost was proposed and assembled by Anne Giancola, local artist and newest PCAC Board Member. The individual signs were created by local artists offering their interpretation of signage pointing to public art in the area as well as poetry created by Pleasanton’s past teen Poet Laureate. The City of Pleasanton also helped support the project and included a QR Code to the STQRY app. The community can download a QR app to use with smart phones to provide them more information about artists and artwork to enhance the art finding experience in downtown.
